Hello and welcome to the web site of Lovingly Managed. We are bereavement co-ordinators and funeral planners. If you’ve never heard of our kind of service before then we’re not surprised – it’s unique.

However, we firmly believe that there is a pressing need for what we provide which is only going to increase as a consequence of our country’s ageing demographic profile and other ongoing social changes that see family members living significant distances from one another and increasing numbers of people ending their days alone.

So what do we do? Well, we provide an extensive range of services designed to help people plan for or manage their own or their loved ones’ end of life. We help people put together comprehensive plans for their own deaths and, for those left behind, we make the loss of a loved one less traumatic by easing the administrative burden that results from someone’s passing. Our range of services covers the drawing up of end of life plans, funeral planning and co-ordination and practical assistance following a death – like a wedding planner but for funerals and bereavement. We are NOT funeral directors

The services we provide go a lot further than just the funeral, although we can help you pre-plan and pre-pay, for your funeral should you wish to, as part of our comprehensive End of Life plan, and we can work closely with funeral directors in the process of fulfilling our clients’ wishes. We do, however, have a service in South Wales where we arrange green funerals ONLY in conjunction with natural burial grounds.

We also provide a number of complementary services that are not related to bereavement but are still designed to help the elderly, the ill or their relatives, such as help with entering or leaving long-term care, escorting physically fragile people to important medical appointments or other types of functions and a monitoring service to check on the ongoing wellbeing of vulnerable relatives.

As well as working for private individuals, the company works with professional organisations such as solicitors, independent financial advisors (IFAs), nursing homes, hospices and social service departments, adding value to and complementing their core services.

The business

The business has been founded by three professional women, all of whom have suffered close family bereavements and know how difficult it can be, both at the time of the death and afterwards. It was our own experiences that gave us the idea and impetus to set up Lovingly Managed, hopefully to remove some of the burden and uncertainty that is inevitable at this time and so make death and bereavement less stressful events for others than they were for us.
