I appointed Lovingly Managed to co-ordinate and supervise the clearance of a property for an estate we were acting for on behalf of the executor. There was no denying that the property in question was in need of total modernisation – new bathroom, new kitchen – as well as a complete decorative overhaul, but the improvement in the property’s presentation wrought by Lovingly Managed was impressive and I am sure it contributed to our achieving a better valuation for the property than might otherwise have been realised.

I have recently used Lovingly Managed to help me downsize following the death of my wife. At 86 and unable to drive this was not a decision I undertook lightly, especially when considering everything that had to be done to move from a large bungalow filled with possessions accumulated during decades of marriage into a small, two bedroomed flat. Finding Lovingly Managed was a Godsend. As well as organising the entire move, from hiring the removal people, agreeing the dates, liaising with the warden at my new residence and overseeing everything on the day, prior to the move Catherine also attended my new home to let in the carpet fitters and take delivery of new furniture items to save me from having to do it. On the day of the move, we couldn't get the TV to work and we discovered that the freezer wasn't working. Catherine got the TV sorted within a matter of hours so that I wasn't without it for the weekend. She also arranged for an engineer to come to fix the freezer. In the event, it was actually beyond repair so she took me shopping for a new freezer and telephone the following week. A few weeks later when the bungalow sold, she took me back there so that I could have a final check to see if there was anything in it that I needed or wanted and then arranged for the final clearance. Moving at my age was a worry but something I needed to do for my welfare. In the event, with Catherine's help, all I had to do was as I was told(!) and the whole thing was smooth and worry-free. I can't thank her enough for her help and kindness and would recommend their service to anyone in the same situation.

I have used Lovingly Managed for a few small tasks that, for me or my staff, would have taken us out of the office for a disproportionate amount of time in relation to their overall importance. Lovingly Managed have carried out regular checks on properties for us so that we comply with the terms of the insurance policies on unoccupied houses; they have visited properties to take final meter readings before completion of sale and they have also dealt with the valuation and sale of a car on behalf of an estate for which I was acting.  Everything is done efficiently and cost-effectively for the estate and I have found their service to be extremely helpful.
