Monitoring service

For relatives living some distance away from a vulnerable family member, who are unable to visit regularly, it can be worrying not to have a true grasp on what’s really going on in their lives, especially as it’s often difficult to communicate with them over the phone if their hearing is less than perfect. We can pop in on relatives, have a cup of tea with them, pass on any messages you have for them, have a chat about what’s going on with them and feed back what they tell us. We can also let you know if we feel there is any need for concern regarding the state of their home environment or their ability to look after themselves so that you can take appropriate action, or we can get in touch with the relevant agencies on your behalf, oversee the assessment process and let you know what your options are.
